What’s the Difference Between Championship Vinyl & Standard Polyester Headband Nets?
Our Championship quad-stitched braided tennis nets with our vinyl headband are our most economical Championship net. This material adds to the quality of the net and will last for many years. It’s also easy to wipe clean.
Our Championship Polyester Headband Tennis Nets are slightly more durable, made from a strong synthetic material. This is UV-resistant and weatherproof, as well as offering more resistance against frequent use.

Edwards’ tennis nets are manufactured for excellent durability, so the materials we use will withstand regular use and outdoor conditions. However, we do recommend some simple maintenance to ensure your net stays in top shape.
Regularly inspect the net for any tears or damage. If any are found, replace the net immediately.
Clean the net and vinyl headband with mild soap and water to remove dirt or debris.
Store the net in a dry place, like an equipment cupboard, when not in use or in the off-season.
Is this Tennis Net Suitable for All Weather Conditions?
Yes! The netting of our Championship Tennis Nets is made with a weather-resistant and UV-stabilised finish, so they’re able to be used and kept outdoors in all weather conditions.
That being said, we would recommend taking the net down during any serious storms or bad weather as a precaution.
Please note: vinyl-coated headbands may fade due to prolonged UV exposure, but this shouldn’t occur for a good few years.
