More Product Details
Our Championship Double-Stitched Vinyl Doubles Nets are manufactured at our Dorset factory by a team of skilled craftspeople. Each net is hand-checked before being carefully packaged and delivered to your location.
The 3.5mm polyethylene we use is high-strength, with a twisted and knotted design that creates impact resistance and durability. This means our twisted tennis nets can withstand the force of powerful tennis shots without breaking or fraying.
These nets are also made with a 45mm mesh size, which meets the standard mesh size for high-quality nets.
The sides and bottom of the net are reinforced by machine overlocking the sides and bottom, helping prevent the net from sagging or becoming misshapen over time.
Our nets with the vinyl tennis netting headband offer our most economical and easy-care headband option, but are still very long lasting.
The double-stitching on the vinyl headband contains a headwire line with a loop and pin tensioning system across the top, providing a secure and taut net for optimal gameplay.
Once installed on your tennis net posts, our nets resemble the pristine, perfectly fitted look synonymous with Wimbledon and other high-profile competitions and clubs worldwide.
Trusted by clubs and venues across the UK, our Championship Double-Stitched Vinyl Tennis Nets deliver professional-level performance at accessible prices.

FAQs
Before You Buy
What Type of Net Do I Need for a Professional Tennis Venue?
We would recommend our Championship Nets for professional tennis venues and clubs.
These top-of-the-range nets offer intense durability while, of course, complying with ITF regulations. We even supply our nets to Wimbledon.
Our headband choices for these nets are as follows:
• Vinyl headbands = most affordable headband, easy to clean, and will last many years.
• Polyester headbands = a level up, offering a more durable and UV-resistant headband choice.
How Do I Know the Championship Vinyl Tennis Net Will Fit My Existing Posts?
These tennis nets will fit any tennis net posts with a standard winding mechanism.
We do recommend using Edwards Sports Tennis Posts for ensured compatibility, but you can also use our nets on existing posts.
If you want to double-check on compatibility, give us a call.
What’s the Difference Between Championship Vinyl & Standard Polyester Headband Nets?
Our vinyl tennis netting headband is our most economical Championship net. This material adds to the quality of the net and will last for many years. It’s also easy to wipe clean.
Our Championship Polyester Headband Tennis Nets are slightly more durable, made from a strong synthetic material. This is UV-resistant and weatherproof, as well as offers more resistance against frequent use.
What Are the Delivery Times for This Tennis Net?

Care & Maintenance
What Maintenance is Required to Keep the Vinyl Tennis Nets in Good Condition?
Edwards’ tennis nets are manufactured for excellent durability, so the materials we use will withstand regular use and outdoor conditions. However, we do recommend some simple maintenance to ensure your net stays in top shape.
• Regularly inspect the net for any tears or damage. If any are found, replace the net immediately.
• Clean the net and vinyl headband with mild soap and water to remove dirt or debris.
• Store the net in a dry place, like an equipment cupboard, when not in use or in the off-season.
Is this Tennis Net Suitable for All Weather Conditions?
Yes! The netting of our Championship Tennis Nets is made with a weather-resistant and UV-stabilised finish, so they’re able to be used and kept outdoors in all weather conditions.
That being said, we would recommend taking the net down during any serious storms or bad weather as a precaution.
Please note: vinyl-coated headbands may fade due to prolonged UV exposure, but this shouldn’t occur for a good few years.
Here, we design, engineer, manufacture, and distribute our tennis nets across the UK to various venues, including the esteemed Wimbledon championships, tennis clubs, sports facilities, schools, and more.
Are Your Championship Double-Stitched Vinyl Tennis Nets Certified to Official Standards?
Yes, they are compliant BS EN 1510:2014, which is the safety and quality standard for playing field equipment/tennis equipment.
They are also made to ITF (International Tennis Federation) standards, ensuring that they meet the requirements for official tennis play.
