Senior goals conform to EN 748 and junior goals to the new EN 16579 standardsEdwards Sports socketed aluminium elliptical football goal posts are manufactured from 108mm x 100mm x 3mm thick reinforced elliptical aluminium profile and feature precision cut, strong reinforced corners with a secure 8mm thick fixing plate.
The goalpost profile includes a net channel designed to take plastic safety net clips and all fixings are either zinc plated or stainless steel to protect against rust. To protect the posts from rust and extend their lifetime a white polyester powder coat is applied creating a glossy paint finish.
Ground sockets are made from 114mm x 2mm thick steel and include a base plate, drainage holes and socket caps.
